
Zoë Rogers

About this speaker
Zoë grew up in LA, graduated from Santa Monica High School and went to Boston to pursue a career in academic science at MIT. She got her B.S. in Biology from MIT in 2012 and then a PhD in Genetics from Stanford. She then became a research scientist at the biotech startup, Karius, which is developing a sequencing-based diagnostic test for infectious diseases. Zoë hosts a weekly radio show on WMBR Cambridge (Fridays @ 9pm EST), and has been a radio DJ on-and-off since she was 13 years old. She is currently a consultant on the Digital Health Innovations team at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the founder of Ration which is aiming to change the way that people consume content online.
